Le nanotecnologie e l’interazione di queste con i sistemi biologici rappresentano un campo di studi molto importanti quanto complicati per il futuro della scienza medica. Per l’analisi di strutture con dimensioni dell’ordine dei nanometri, la FDA (Food and Drug Administration) ha creato al suo interno una task force con il preciso compito di esaminare questo nuovo sbocco scientifico.
